Cleaning Service Overview

• Removes grease, soot, carbon and cooking residue
• Cleans both inside and outside surfaces
• Removes oils and fuel residue
• Reduces staining
• Helps prevent corrosion
• Ensures the stove is safe for use
• It does not remove pitting or corrosion
• It does not repair bent or damaged components
• It does not anodise or reanodise surfaces
• It does not fix fuel leaks or burner faults
• It does not pressure‑test gas burners or fuel bottles

What’s Included in the Cleaning Service

• Pre‑work inspection
• Customer report following the pre‑work inspection
• Full deep clean of all stove parts, including inside any rolled edges, in an ultrasonic bath
• Degreasing and decarbonising using specialist non caustic cleaning solution
• Manual cleaning where required
• All parts properly rinsed and wiped of all cleaning solution
• Controlled drying in our dedicated drying room
• Final pack‑down with all parts separated and protected

Pre‑Work Inspection

When your stove arrives, we carry out a basic pre‑work inspection. This inspection is referenced in our Terms & Conditions and includes:

• Checking for damage, missing screws, bent brackets or worn components
• Identifying carbon build‑up, staining, rust or corrosion
• Assessing whether any parts require additional cleaning or replacement
• Confirming the number of stove pieces for accurate pricing
• Photographing any issues for your customer report

This inspection does not include fuel‑system testing or pressure testing. The inspection determines the cleaning cost and any optional polishing recommendations.

Cleaning Price

We price this service based on the components in your stove system. This ensures fair, consistent pricing across all stove sent to us and reflects the time, chemicals and energy required to clean and dry each stove properly. The price shown on the site shows the current price per component.
As a reference, here are example costs:
Trangia 25‑1 UL = 7 components – £21
Trangia 25‑2 UL = 8 components – £24

If your stove includes additional accessories (kettle, pan stand, multi‑disc, gas burner, spirit burner, etc.), these are counted as separate pieces.

Optional Polishing Service

After cleaning, you can choose to have your stove polished to restore shine and remove surface dulling.
Polishing includes:

• Bench‑polishing using a buffing ball and compound
• Removal of light oxidation
• Smoothing of surface scratches
• Final rinse and additional drying cycle

This service is optional and is priced at £3 per component.

nb, This is only suitable for surfaces that do not have a non stick or anodised surface.

Delivery & Packaging

We use Parcel Force for smaller loads or Same Day Couriers for large bulk loads. If equipment is to be shipped to/from us via Parcel Force, we ask that the customer pack their items in boxes based on the following criteria:

• Maximum length: 70cm
• Maximum width: 50cm
• Maximum height: 50cm
• Maximum weight: 30 kg

If your boxes exceeds these limits, additional fee’s maybe required.

When sending items to us please ensure that all items are packed safely and reasonably so that they are protected from being damaged during transit.

Repairs, Maintenance and Any Other Additional Work

If we find any issues during the pre‑work inspection (such as missing screws, bent brackets, pin holes in pots, damaged burners) we’ll let you know and provide a no‑obligation quote for repairs.

How Often Should You Clean Your Stove?

We recommend that you clean your camping stove with a quick wipe before each use, a thorough hand wash after every trip, and a full deep clean once a year.
