Everytime you use your sleeping bag, it get contaminated by dirt, dust, bodily fluids and because of its special insulation features, this becomes the perfect environment for mould and bacterial growth. This can make breathing hard for anyone and especially those with dust mite allergies. The most important thing to do after using a sleeping bag is to turn it inside out and hang it somewhere dry and airy. But every so often you should clean it.
